Joseph G.McClain;82;of 346 Speer street;Belle Vernon;died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital on Tuesday;March 13;1951;at 7:30 a.m.  He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Jessie McClain;one son;John of Belle Vernon;three daughters;Miss Bess McClain at home;Mrs.Edna Burkhart of West Newton and Mrs.Maurice Baker of Coraopolis;one sister;Mrs.Elizabeth Ann Scott of Belle Vernon;sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.  Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home until Friday;March 16 when funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.with Rev.Herbert Mountain of the West Newton Baptist Church officiating.  Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Harold R.Toner;funeral director.
