Obituary

A retired coal miner,Joseph F.Ambrozich,84,of Fayette City R.D. 1,died Friday,Sept.26,1969,at 5:55 p.m.in Brownville General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr.Ambrozick,who was born in Yugoslavia,was a member of Holy Spirit R.C.Church and S.N.P.J.Lodge No.224,both of Fayette City,and Independent Slovak Citizens Club of Gillespie. Surviving are his widow,Mary,two sons,Joseph Shirley of Belle Vernon and Matthew Shirley of Fayette City,three daughters,Mrs.Arthur (Mary) Schwenk of North Charleroi,Mrs.Charles (Rose) Winship pf Fayette City R.D.1,Mrs.Thaddeus (Frances) Sobek of Belle Vernon,10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. Prayer there Monday,Sept.29,at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in Holy Sprit R.C.Church,Fayette City,at 10 a.m. The Rev.Joseph Tamilkowski,pastor,will act as celebrant. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m.Saturday,Sept 27. Howard W.McCrory is funeral director.
