Obituary

Joseph F.Moussiaux,88,former Mon Valley resident who made his home with his son,Arthur of Detroit,Mich.,died Saturday,June 14,1969,at 9:30 p.m.in Bon Secour Hospital near Detroit.  Mr.Moussiaux was born in Belgium on July 4,1880.  He was a member of St.Peter R.C.Church,Detroit,and was a life member of B.P.O.Elks,Monessen Lodge 773.   He had lived in Monessen until his retirement in 1928 as a yard roller for American Sheet and Tin plate Co.  His wife,Constance,died May 10,1956.  Surviving are two sons,Arthur of Detroit and Percy J.of Monessen;three daughters,Mrs.Ardery (Leona) Coulter of Detroit,Mrs.Harold (Rita) Romig of Seattle,Wash.,Mrs.George (Regina) Maines of Lake Milton,Ohio;two sisters,Mrs.Bertha Miller of Swissvale and Mrs.Josie Cardellino of Blairsville;eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m.June 16 and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.June 17.  Blessing service there Wednesday,June 18,at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in St.Leonard R.C.Church,Monessen,at 10 a.m.   Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Edwin Melenyzer is funeral director.
