Joseph Ferreri;85;of 525 Fayetteville Rd.;died Thursday morning at 6 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Italy on Jan.22;1894;he was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church and a resident of Belle Vernon for 22 years. He formerly lived in Monessen. Mr.Ferreri was a retired craneman at the Monessen plant of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He is survived by his wife;Rose Mazzo Ferreri;one son;Frank C.Ferreri;mayor of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mrs.Peter J.(Virginia) Bellante of Aspinwall;one sister;Mrs.Rose Reda of Dayton;Ohio;four grandchildren;and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Saturday noon in St.Sebastian Church with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
