Obituary

Joseph F.Nipaver,77,of Lynnwood,died Tuesday,Oct.11,1994,in Mon Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born May 30,1917,in Hopwood,a son of the late Joseph and Suzanna Zubin Neupaver. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City. He was a retired steelworker,having worked at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Survivors include his wife,Genevieve Duda Nipaver,two daughters,Judy Williamson of Belle Vernon,and Doris Vacila of Connecticut,one son,Jerome Nipaver of Pittsburgh,seven grandchildren,seven great-grandchildren,three brothers,Albert Neupaver of Belle Vernon,John Neupaver of Panama City,Fla.,and Edward Neupaver of Irwin,and one sister,Helen Worrell of Cleveland. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.,Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday until 9:30 a.m. in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. A funeral Mass will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City,with the Rev.Richard E.Mackiewicz as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A parish vigil will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. The McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
