Joseph E. Riskey,50,of Charleroi R.D. 2,Twilight Borough,died suddenly Wednesday, June 19,1968 at 5:30 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was employed in the No. 5 finishing department of the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. A Veteran of World War II,he served in the South Pacific with the 13th Airborne Division. Surviving are his widow,Betty Holbrook Riskey;two daughters,Tancy A. at home and Mrs. Lawrence (Rhonda) Acton of Charleroi;a son,David Lee at home;his parents,Mr.and Mrs. William Bickerton of Twilight Borough;three sisters,Mrs. Lloyd White of Dunn Station,Pa,,Mrs. Mary Stewart of Speers,Mrs. James (Oleada) Allessio of Speers Hill;two brothers, Fred of Twilight Borough and Elmer of Youngstown,Ohio and one grandson. Friends are being received at the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon after 7 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday. Service there Saturday , June 22,1968 at 2 p.m. with the pastor of Speers First Methodist Church offficiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
