Joseph DeNoon Wampler;73;of 101 Vine St.Belle Vernon;died Wednesday Jan.26;1966;at 10:30 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was born in Irwin;Dec.30;1892;a son of the late J.E.and Emma Goehring Wampler. He had resided in Belle Vernon for 48 years coming from Irwin;and was a member of First Presbyterian Church;Belle Vernon. He was a salesman for the Potter-McCune and Rockwell Foundry of Monessen;having retired in 1954. Surviving are his widow;Mary Smith Wampler;two daughters;Mrs.Andrew (Jane) Kuhl of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Floyd W.(Mary Jo) Sollenberger of Chambersburg;and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m.;Jan.27.
