Joseph Dubinsky; 91; of Belle Vernon; Washington Township; died Sunday; Oct. 24; 2010; in Hallsworth House III; Monessen. Born Jan. 8; 1919; in Monessen; he was the son of the late John and Mary Smith Dubinsky. A resident of Washington Township for the past 44 years; Mr. Dubinsky was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; was a retired foreman on the Rail Mill from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Monessen Plant; was a veteran of World War II; having served with the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Joseph and Donna Dubinsky; of Franklin; and Richard and Debbie Dubinsky; of Belle Vernon; four grandchildren; Tamara Swank; Rayann Menges; Tara Dubinsky and Allyson Lee; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife; Ann Nogy Dubinsky; his second wife; Irene Trappen Dubinsky; daughter; Patricia Battista; three brothers; John; Bill and Edward Dubinsky; and a sister; Betty Bankovich. Visitation will be held Tuesday; Oct. 26; from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; (724) 929-6183. Prayer service will be held Wednesday; Oct. 27; at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass at noon at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of John Dubinsky Tuesday at 3 p.m. and the Belle Vernon American Legion will conduct services Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.; both in the funeral home.
