J. D. Finley, aged 88 years, died Thursday evening,July 18,1935 at 7:45 o'clock at his home in Pricedale after a short illness. He enjoyed fairly good health up until a month ago when his vitality began to fail and he slept away in his chair. He was a faithful attendant at the Pricedale Union Church. His ancestors founded the Rehobeth Church. Mr. Finley had quite a record for Sunday school attendance, having missed only three Sundays sirce 1898. Surviving are three sons, Calvin, of Pricedale; Albert, of West Newton, and Elmer, of Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Sunday at the Union Church in charge of Rev. H. C. Dunn.
