Obituary

Joseph D Keracik ol 426 Fell St . Belle Vernon, died suddenly on Friday,Nov.6,1981, at 5 p.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital. He was 70. Mr. Keracik was born April 8, 1911 in Charleroi, a son of the late Joseph and Catherine Bartek Keracik. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Belle Vernon. A painter and decorator by trade,Mr. Keracik was a member of Painters Local 327, Charleroi. He was a veteran of World War II, and a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. Survivors include his widow, Elizabeth Godissart Keracik, one daughter, Mrs. David ( Linda ) Kissler of Belle Vernon, one sisler, Mrs. Anna Rowley of Belle Vernon, and two grandchildren, Brian and Brea Kissler. Friends will be received in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon,on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.where services will be held on Monday,Nov.9,at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Charles Colas,pastor of the First Baptist Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
