Services were held Monday morning,Feb. 9,1998 for Joseph (Coaches) Belczyk,86,of 118 Nagy Ave.,Arnold City,who died Friday,Feb. 6,1998,at 8:30 p.m. in his home. He was born Dec. 4,191,in Arnold City,a son of the late Frank and Mary Kuwada Belczyk. He was a lifelong resident of Arnold City and a member of St. Joseph Polish National Catholic Church, Fairhope. He was a retired custodian for the Belle Vernon Area School District. He was past president and past secretary for the Polish National Alliance Lodge 976, Arnold City. Survivors include his wife, Mary Strychalski Belczyk, to whom he was married 63 years; three brothers, Jack Belczyk of Fairhope,Andrew Belsick of Belle Vernon and George Belsick of Fairhope and one sister, Lena Coates of Arnold City. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
