Following a lengthy illness, Joseph Clement,Sr.,aged 66 years, well known local baker,died at his home at 639 fallowfield Avenue,Charleroi,Sunday night, May 19,1935,at 11 o'clock of complications. He had been in the bakery business here for twenty years although he had resided in Charleroi for the past thirty years. He was born February 14,1869,in Belgium. Surviving are his wife, Julia,one daughter, Marie; one son Joseph Jr. of Charleroi and two sisters in Belgium. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock,from the late home,in charge of Rev, Frank S. Montgomery,pastor of the Washington Avenue Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
