Joseph C.Lawrence;53;of Perryopolis R.D.2;died suddenly on Monday;Feb.11;at 12:27 p.m. in the Uniontown Hospital. Mr.Lawrence was born Jan.27;1932;a son of the late Charles and Victoria Vranak Lawrence. He was a member of the Sokol Club of Perryopolis. Mr.lawrence was a veteran of the Korean Conflict;having served in the U.S.Navy. He was employed at the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He is survived by his wife;Rachel Harden Lawrence;one son;Joseph Stephen Lawrence at home;three daughters;Mrs.Curt (Debra) Tidholm and Pamela J.Krinosky;both of Perryopolis and Stephanie K.Lawrence at home;three grandchildren;Matthew and Jentri Tidholm and Ryan Krinosky;two half-brothers;John V.Lawrence of Florida and Vance Lawrence of Shephardsville;Kentucky and one half-sister;Mrs.Caroline Molle of Emporium. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Howard W.Mccrory Funeral Home;Fayette City; on Thursday;Feb.14;until 11 a.m. whe services will be held with the Rev.Kenneth Neiderhiser of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
