Joseph C. Krivda,90,of Gillespie,Fayette City R.D.,died Tuesday, Feb. 16,1999,in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born in Washington Township, Fayette County,on March 22,1908,a son of the late George and Anna Glaisa Krivda. Mr. Krivda was a retired foreman in the billet yard at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co.,Allenport plant. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Fayette City. Survivors include his wife,Margaret Gardner Krivda; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and John Senko of Fayette City R.D. and Barbara Jean and David Fleming of Murrysville; and the following grandchildren, Patricia and husband Michael Tacoronte, John Senko,Stefanie and husband Donald McCulloch,David Fleming and Deborah and husband Bill Kaufman; seven great-grandchildren and three sisters, Anna Pendro of McKeesport,Margaret Baran of Fayette City R.D.and Agnes Bowers of Charleroi. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc.,334 Main st.,Fayette City and Thursday until 9:30 a.m., where a Prayer service will be held, followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City, with the Rev.Leonard McAlpin as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A Parish Wake service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
