Joseph Beketic;70;of Pearl street;Fairhope;died Saturday;August 6;1949;at 10 a.m. after an illness of seven weeks. He is survived by his wife;Magdalene Beketic;three sons;Michael of Chicago;John of Europe and Adam in Belle Vernon;three daughters;Barbara at home;Mrs.Walter Lautsch of Fairhope;Mrs.Frances Stepanic of Europe and nine grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home. Requiem High Mass will be held in St.Edward’s Church;Fayette City;Tuesday;August 9;1949;at 9:30 a.m.;in charge of Rev.Ribick. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.Melenyzer is the funeral director.
