Joseph Bednar,56,of 623 Reed Ave.,Monessen,died Wednesday,June 29,1983,at 7:40 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital after being striken ill at the Cornng Glass Works,his place of employment. Friends will be received at the Raymond D. Dalfonso Funeral Home, 441 Reed Ave.,Monessen,Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held Friday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. A Blessing Service will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Cajetan Roman Catholic Church,Monessen,with the Rev. P. Lino Ramellini,pastor,as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Raymond D. Dalfonso Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
