Joseph A. Uncle Joe Beresik; 70; of North Belle Vernon; died Sunday; Oct. 31; 2010; at 8:33 p.m. at Country Care Manor; Washington Township. Born June 28; 1940; in North Belle Vernon; he was the son of the late Joseph S. and Mary Teplican Beresik. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon; Mr. Beresik was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; where he served as an usher for many years; was a retired kiln operator from Corning Glass; of Charleroi; and was a member of the Belle Vernon Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 209. He is survived by his sister; Darlene Beresik Engel; of Belle Vernon; a nephew; David Joseph Engel; of Belle Vernon; and his fiancee; Mandy Lowther; of Fayette City. Visitation will be held Tuesday; Nov. 2; from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; (724) 929-6183.
