Joseph A.Griffith;aged 39 years;died Sunday afternoon;October 18;1936;at 2:10 at his home;1554 Schoonmaker avenue.  Surviving are his father;Grant Griffith;and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs.O.T.Miller;of Morgantown;Mrs.John Fleming;of Monessen;Mrs.James Caputo;of Evertsville;W.Va.;Grant Griffith;Jr.;of Stockdale;and Miss Ruth Griffith;of Monessen.   Post 1190;Veterans of Foreign Wars;of which he is a member;will be in charge of the funeral services for Joseph Griffith;to be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Pentecostal Mission of Schoonmaker avenue.  Rev.W.L.Shevel will be in charge. Mr.Griffith was  a member of Company K;162 Infantry;41st.Division.  Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
