Joseph A. Pantuso,75,of 711 Henry St.,Belle Vernon,died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Friday,Feb.23,1962,at 2:10 p.m. He was born in Savelli,Italy,Sept. 30,1886. He came to Belle Vernon 56 years ago from Argentina and in 1951 retired from the Allenport mill of Pittsburgh Steel Co. He was a member of the Sons of Italy Lodge and the Italian Beneficial Society of Belle Vernon. His wife,Mary Rontondo Pantuso died in 1943. He is survived by three sons, Anthony of Detroit,Mich.,Ernest,of New Kensington,and Raymond of Valencia,Pa.,two daughters, Tressa at home and Mrs. Howard (Nellie) Anderson,of Belle Vernon,and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Requiem High Mass will be sung at St. Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon, Monday,Feb. 26,1962,at 10 a.m.,by the Rev. Andrew King. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson of Belle Vernon is the funeral director.
