Jordan Marini,72,of 612 Graham St.,Belle Vernon,died Saturday,Nov. 13,1993,at 5 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Feb. 25,1921,in Dunlevy,he was the son of the late Amos and Clara Sylvester Marini. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon community,Mr. Marini was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,where he was past president of the Holy Name Society. He was a U.S. Coast Gurard veteran of World War II and a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. He retired in 1983 from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,where he had been employed as a hooker. In addition of this parents, he was preceded in death by a brother,Thomas Marini. Surviving are his wife of 42 years,Olga Celestino Marini;a son and daughter-in-law,Gary and Elizabeth Marini of Hockessin,Del.;a daughter,Deborah Marini of Somerset;a grandson,Garrett Marini of Hockessin,Del.;and a brother, Henry Marini of Arizona. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a Prayer service will be held Monday,Nov. 15,at 9:30 a.m.,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. The Legion of Mary will recite the Rosary Sunday at 3 p.m.in the funeral home. Belle Vernon American Legion Post 657 will conduct services at 7 p.m. and St. Sebastian Holy Name Society will hold a wake service at 8 p.m.,both in the funeral home. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
