At his home in Kittanning on Sunday;January 5;1919;occurred the death of John Baptiste Rousseau;aged 67 years. Death was due to Asthma from which Mr.Rousseau has been a sufferer for many years. He was well known to many Monessen and Rostraver township people;having been a resident in this locality. For many years he resided with his family on a farm east of Monessen;from where he moved to Kittanning several years ago. Although he was not in the best of health;the announcement of his death to friends and relatives caused a great shock here. The body of the dead man was brought to Monessen yesterday and taken to the home of his daughter;Mrs.Victor Sprumont on Schoonmker avenue;from where the funeral will take place Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment will be made in the Sprumont burial plot at the Belle Vernon cemetery. He is survived by his wife and the following children:Joseph of Monessen;Alex and Arthur of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Victor Sprumont of Monessen and John and Eva at home. Several grandchildren also survive.
