Obituary

John Yusko,75,of Fairhope,Belle Vernon,died Friday,Dec. 16,1994,in the emergency room of Mon Valley Hospital Inc.,Carroll Township.  Born Aug. 19,1919,in Bentleyville,he was the son of the late Charles and Anna Phela Yusko.  Mr. Yusko was retired form the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.  He was a U.S.Army Air Force veteran of World War II. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by two brothers,Charles and Mike Yusko,and a sister, Anna Komacko. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ercegovich Yusko,two sons, John Jo Yusko of Monessen and Charles E. Yusko,at home;five daughters,and three sons-in-law,Anna Marie Farquhar of Fayette City,Mary Joyce and Harry Lahti of Belle Vernon,Priscilla and Wayne Byzon of Herminie,Patricia and Terry Jakela of Pricedale and Linda Sapanara of Connellsville;12 grandchildren;four great-grandchildren;two brothers,George Yusko of Fayette City and Joseph Yusko of Goose Creek,S.C.;and three sisters,Mrs. Larry (Helen) Morozek of Fayette City R.D.,Mrs. Mickey (Nancy) Mucci of Perryopolis and Mrs. John (Mary) Kossol of Florida. Friends will be received Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and all day Sunday in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,and on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. in Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Belle Vernon,when Divine Liturgy will be celebrated with the Rev. John Kluchko as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Arrangements are being handled by the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home.
