John Yasko; 75; of Monessen;
died Thursday; August 24;
2000; in Mon Valley Hospital.
He was bom June 1; 1925; in
Monessen; a son the late Frank
and Julia Labonich Yasko. He
was a member of St. John the
Divine Russian Orthodox
Church; Monessen. A lifelong
Monessen resident; he was a Navy veteran; serving in World
War II on the U.S.S. Tarawa.
He was an employee of
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Blooming
Mill Dept. He is survived by his
wife; Adelia Wall Yasko; children; Mrs. William (Janet)
Bunardzya of Belle Vernon and
Mrs. Robert (Debra) Shaub of
Lancaster; brothers; Mike
Yasko of Charleroi; and grandchildren; Kyra and Chryste
Bunardzya and Brittany
Shaub. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death
by a brother; Frank Yasko.
Friends will be received Friday
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the
RHOME FUNERAL HOME; a
Golden Rule Funeral Home;
1209 Grand Blvd.; Monessen;
where a Parastas service will
be held Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Prayers will be held in the
funeral home Saturday at 9:30
a.m. followed by a 10 a.m.
funeral service in St. John the
Divine Russian Orthodox
Church; Monessen; with the
Very Rev. Fr. John Horosky as
celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
