Obituary

John Yasko, 75, of Monessen,
died Thursday, August 24,
2000, in Mon Valley Hospital.
He was bom June 1, 1925, in
Monessen, a son the late Frank
and Julia Labonich Yasko. He
was a member of St. John the
Divine Russian Orthodox
Church, Monessen. A lifelong
Monessen resident, he was a Navy veteran, serving in World
War II on the U.S.S. Tarawa.
He was an employee of
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Blooming
Mill Dept. He is survived by his
wife, Adelia Wall Yasko, children, Mrs. William (Janet)
Bunardzya of Belle Vernon and
Mrs. Robert (Debra) Shaub of
Lancaster, brothers, Mike
Yasko of Charleroi, and grandchildren, Kyra and Chryste
Bunardzya and Brittany
Shaub. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death
by a brother, Frank Yasko.
Friends will be received Friday
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the
RHOME FUNERAL HOME, a
Golden Rule Funeral Home,
1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen,
where a Parastas service will
be held Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Prayers will be held in the
funeral home Saturday at 9:30
a.m. followed by a 10 a.m.
funeral service in St. John the
Divine Russian Orthodox
Church, Monessen, with the
Very Rev. Fr. John Horosky as
celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
