Obituary

John Wasco,89,of Belle Vernon,R.D.3,died suddenly Sunday,May 22,1960,at 1:15 p.m.,at his home. He was a retired coal miner and was a member of the LOOM,Belle Vernon,which he served for many years as secretary-treasurer. Preceded in death by his wife Helen,Feb.18,1954,he is survived by two sons,Charles of Sturgeon,Pa.,Bernard,Belle Vernon R.D.,four daughters,Pauline Rusnak,Belle Vernon,R.D.,Barbara Wasco,Belle Vernon,Mrs.George (Helen) Zekan,Scottdale,Mrs.John (Mary) Maksin,McKesport,18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends will be recieved at the Toner Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.Requiem High Mass will be sung in St.Sebastian Church,May 25,1960,at 10 a.m.,in charge of Rev.Andrew King.
