John W. Usher; 76; of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township); died Friday; May 30; 2008; at 11:48 p.m. at his home. Born Aug. 14; 1931; in Belle Vernon; he was the son of the late John F. and Margaret I. Cochenour Usher. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Mr. Usher was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church; Belle Vernon; and was a retired tow motor operator for American Chain and Cable. He was also a member of the East Belle Vernon Athletic Club. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Thomas and Cheryl Usher of Perryopolis; Robert and Martha Usher of Belle Vernon; a daughter; Darlene Furyanic of Charleroi; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Charles and Shirley Usher of Belle Vernon; George and Judy Usher of Perryopolis; two sisters and a brother-in-law; Marie and Joseph Coccari of Monessen; Betty Evangelist of Belle Vernon; eight grandchildren; Jason and wife Chrissie; John; Jill; Bryan and wife Erica; Krista; Scott; Jacqueline and Jessica; and a great-granddaughter; Hannah. He is preceded in death by his wife; Frances I. Olejniczek Usher; and a son; Jerome Usher. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J.
