John W. Karbowsky; 77; of Rostraver Township; died Friday; Nov. 19; 2004; at 3:35 p.m.; at Harmon House; Mt. Pleasant. Born Feb. 11; 1927; in Belle Vernon; he was a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Helen Furtak Karbowsky. Mr. Karbowsky was a lifelong resident of Rostraver Township; a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church; Belle Vernon; and a retired farmer at the Patterson Farm; Rostraver Township. He is survived by a sister; Dorothy Karbowsky; of Belle Vernon; a brother and sister-in-law; William and Pauline Karbowsky; of Smithton; a sister-in-law; Marsha Karbowsky; of North Belle Vernon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers; Daniel; Michael; Joseph Jr. and Walter Karbowsky; and a sister; Florence Karbowsky.
