John W. Johnson Jr.,68,of Belle Vernon R.D.5,died Wednesday,Jan.13,1993,in the Frick Community Health Center,Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Johnson was born April 22,1924,in Charleroi,a son of the late John W. Johnson and Sarah McManus Johnson,who survives and reside at Belle Vernon R.D.5. He was a retired employee of the Hercules Inc. plant of West Elizabeth. Mr. Johnson was a Protestant by faith. Surviving,in addition to his mother,are two uncles,one aunt,a dear friend and several cousins. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc.,Sweeney Plan,Rostraver Township. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Sowden officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc. is handling arrangements.
