John Hammitt aged 87 years died at his home in the Clawson building on State Street Tuesday nig-ht at 10:17 from the effects of a stroke suffered Friday. He was born Juno 12, 18-19 and lived practically all his life in Belle Vernon. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Josephine Corwin, of Clarksburg, W. Va. Two sons, William and Charles both of Belle Vernon and 15 grandchildren and number of great grandchildren. ?uneral services will be held from UK late home 108 State Street on Saturday nfernoon, 2 o'clock in charge of Rev.
