Obituary
John Tyler,64,of 1 Ohio St.,Pricedale,died Sunday,June 4,1961 at 11:45 a.m. at home after a brief illness. Mr. Tyler was born in Yantley,Ala.,March 15,1897. He had lived in Pricedale for 35 years. Surviving are his widow,Savannah;a son, Charles,stationed with the U.S. Armed Forces in New Mexico;a daughter,Ora D. Hardwick of Mobile,Ala.;three sisters,Elmira Moody of Portland,Ore.,Mrs. Idell Rhyne of Hattisburgh,Miss.,and Annie Thompson of Gulf Post,Miss.;three brothers,Joseph of Meridean,Miss.,Dollie G. of Pricedale and Roland of Welcoe,W.Va. and one grandson. Friends will be received at the late home after 2 p.m. Tuesday,June 6. Funeral services will be held from the late home on Wednesday.June 7,at 2 p.m. The Rev. A.C. Morris will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
