Obituary

John Tonarelli,49,of 432 Market St.,Belle Vernon,died Monday,June 27,1960,at 5 p.m.in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was born in Calumet,Mich.,Nov.4,1910,and had resided in Belle Vernon since 1918. He was a foreman in the fininshing department of the Allenport plant,Pittsburgh Steel Co. He was a member of St.Sebastian Church,the Italian Beneficial Society of Belle Vernon,and the North Belle Vernon Fire Department. He is survived by his wife,Norma Simboli Tonarelli,one son,Jerry,a daughter,Linda,both at him,his mother,Mrs.Tina Tonarelli,of Belle Vernon,and two brothers,Geno and Domenick (Babe),of Belle Vernon. He was preceded in death by another brother,Tony,on March 26,1945. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,beginning at 7 o'clock Tuesday evening. Visiting hours are 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Requiem High Mass will be sung on Friday,July 1,1960,at 10 a.m.,in St.Sebastian Church by Rev.Andrew King. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery.
