John T. Bilski; 76; of Arnold
City; Belle Vernon; died Thursday May 31; 2001; in the emergency room of Monongahela
Valley Hospital. He was born
May 28; 1925; in Mayfield; a
son of the late Joseph and Anna
Bilski. He was a member of
Holy Spirit Roman Catholic
Church; Fayette City. He was a
veteran of World War II; having
served in the U.S. Navy; and
was a member of the Brightwell-Daughtery Post 484 American Legion; Fayette City; and
the Fairhope Rod and Gun
Club. Surviving are his wife;
Dolores Smith Bilski; to whom
he was married 42 years; a
daughter; Cheryl Yosh and husband; Richard; of Freeland; two
brothers; Louis and Floyd Bilski; both of Arnold City; and a
sister; Adeline Barch of Belle
Vernon. Friends will be
received at the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME; INC.;
334 Main St.; Fayette City; on
Saturday; 7 to 9 p.m.; Sunday;
noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and
Monday; June 4; 2001; until
9:30 a.m.; when a blessing service will take place followed by a
Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in
Holy Spirit R.C. Church; with
Rev. Father Leonard McAlpin
as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
A parish wake service will be
held Sunday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
