Obituary
John Stanko,70,of Smithton,died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon,April 14,1965 in Scottdale. He was born in Czechoslovakia,and had lived at Smithton for 50 years. Surviving are his widow,Maria,in Czechoslovakia;a daughter, Mrs. Maria Sarra of Belle Vernon;a son,John Jr.of Youngstown,Ohio;three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Barthels funeral home at Smithton after 7 p.m. Thursday.
