John Slavicsak, Sr., aged 80 years, of Pricedale,died Sunday, Aug. 7,1955,at 6:15 a.m. in Charleroi-Monesen Hospital. The deceased was born in Hungary. He was a member ot St. Sebastian R.C.Church and the Holy Name Society of the Church. Surviving are a son, John, of Duquesne,and a daughter, Mrs. Steve (Christina) Evans,of Pricedale;five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad avenue, Belle Vernon,where visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held from St. Sebastian R.C. Church at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday,Aug. 10 with Requiem High Mass in charge of the Very Rev. Francis Martin. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L. Melenyzer and Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral directors.
