Mr.Groomes was born in Pittsburgh on Feb.5;1965;a son of the late Thomas Tyree and Mrs.Valerie Groomes;who survives and resides in Donora. He was a member of St.Paul’s Baptist Church;Donora;and was a 1983 graduate of Ringgold High School. He played for the DSS baseball team. In addition to his father;he was preceded in death by two brothers;Bruce and Alfred and a sister;Leona. In addition to his mother;he is survived by three brothers;Carlson;Thomas and Sylvera;all at home;two sisters;Marcello of Md.and Shawn at home;paternal grandparents;Daniel and Adelle Tyree and a niece;Natasha of Atlanta;Ga. Friends will be received at the Percy E.Law Jr.Funeral Home;Donora;on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and St St.Paul’s Baptist Church;Donora;on Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.;at St.Paul’s Baptist Church with the Rev.Ernest Love officiating.
