John (Jack) O. Stewart, 66, of St. Mary's Rd.,Belle Vernon R.D.,died Tuesday morning,Nov. 18,1958 at 5 o'clock in the Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. A veteran of World War I,he was retired on July 4,1957 from work as a finisher in the rod mill of the American Steel & Wire Co.,Donora,where he had been employed for 43 years. He was a resident of Belle Vernon for 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Julia, sons, John W. of Los Angeles,Calif. and George B. of Fellsburg; daughters, Mrs. Fred (Rosemary) Dantonio of El Paso, Tex.,Mrs. George (Dolores) Petrisin of Fulton, N.J. and Dorothy Stewart, at home; brother, William R. of Belle Vernon R.D. and eleven grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,beginning Wednesday at 3 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday morning.
