John Nescot;90;formerly of Pricedale;died Wednesday;Oct.21;1998;at Smithley’s Personal Care Home;Mt.Morris;Pa. He was born Jan.22;1908;in Claridge;Pa.;a son of the late Michael and Anna Nescot. He retired in 1972 from the Clyde Mine of Republic Steel Corp. He was a former member of the Belle Vernon American Legion and the Belle Vernon Golden Agers. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include ond daughter and son-in-law;Madeline and Kenton Colvin of Morgantown;W.Va.;two brothers;Steve Nescot of Herminie and Paul Nescot of Bethel Park;one sister;Mary Long of Albuquerque;N.M.;two grandchildren;Kevin Colvin of Greensboro;N.C.;and Keth Colvin of Charlotte;N.C.;and one great-granddaughter;Brittany. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Elizaeth Faulk Nescot on March 10;1995;three brothers;James;Peter and Joseph Nescot;and two sisters;Julie Solsky and Pearl Steban. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. with pastor James Mimidis of the Pricedale Union Church officiating. Burial will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
