John Nalevanko Sr. of 125

at 6:53 p.m. in Brownsville
General Hospital following a
short illness. He was 83.
Mr. Nalevanko was born
June 24;1899 in
Czechoslovakia; a son of the
late George and Ann Metrick
Nalevanko.
He was a retired coal miner
and a U.S. Army veteran of
World War I.
Mr. Nalevanko was a
member of the Holy Spirit
Roman Catholic Church;
Fayette City.
He was preceded in death
by his wife; Margaret
Nalevanko; on April 6;1980.
Surviving are two sons;
Robert Nalevanko and John
Nalevanko Jr.; both of Belle
Vernon; five daughters; Mrs.
George (Mary) Lesko; Mrs.
Michael (Margaret)
Kushner; Mrs. Helen Dilsky;
Mrs. Bernard (Betty) Lallanzio; and Mrs. Martin (Ann)
Bonitati; all of Belle Vernon;
three brothers; Anthony
Nalevanko of Latrobe and Andy and Elmer Nalevanko;both of Hannastown;Pa.;a sister;Mrs. Ann Kula of Greensburg R.D.4;10 grandchildren;and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;all day Sunday and on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home;followed by a 10 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Thomas G.Rinn;pastor of the church;as celebrant. A Parish Wake Service will be held Sunday at 8 p.m.in the funeral home. A Parish Rosary will be recited Monday at 7:30 p.m.in the funeral home. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
