Obituary

John Moskal,74, of 409 Perry Ave.,Belle Vernon (Fairhope) died suddenly at 9:10 p.m.Tuesday,May 10,1977,at his home. He was born in Mt Carmel,Pa on June 17, 1902,son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Moskal. Mr. Moskal was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Fayette City and the United Mine Workers of America. He was a retired coal miner. Surviving are his widow, Blanche Moskal, one son John Moskal of Nanjemoy,Md., three daughters, Mrs.John (Bertha) Lauteri of Arnold City, Belle Vernon, Mrs. James (Mary Anna) Farquher of Arnold City, Belle Vernon and Mrs. Mark (Evelyn) Drucial of Belle Vernon, three stepsons, John and Julius Petrosky, both of Belle Vernon and Stanley Petrosky of Warren, Ohio, one stepdaughter, Mrs. James ( Katheryn) Hutchison of Fayette City, R D 1, two sisters, Mrs. Joseph ( Margaret ) Abbott of Marianna and Mrs. Phillip (Anna) Kirkland of Broken Bow, Okla., 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral home,Fayette City,after 7 p.m.Wednesday. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m.,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m.in Holy Spirit Catholic Church,Fayette City,with the Rev.Thomas Rinn officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A Wake Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 7 p.m. Howard W.McCrory is funeral director in charge.
