John Michaels;Sr.;of Tyrol Pass;died Saturday;Dec.3;1955;at 7:55 a.m.at his late home. Mr.Michaels had lived in Monessen for the past 33 years. Surviving are his wife;Mrs.Anna Michaels;five sons;John;Jr.;Joseph;Frank and Anthony Paul;all at home;and Elmer;of Monessen;four daughters;Mrs.Ann Randall;of Monongahela;Margaret and Dolores;both at home and Mrs.Michael (Helen) Martin of Belle Vernon;and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Check Home for Funerals;100 Schoonmaker avenue;from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. Brief funeral services will be held from the funeral home;Wednesday;Dec.7;at 8:30 a.m.;with additional services to follow at 9 o’clock from the St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;with the Rev.Francis Martin officiating.
