Obituary

John Mazade of 1115 Madison avenue,Chicago,Illinois,died on Thursday,June 17,1954,in Chicago after a short illness. He was born in Bessage,France,February 18,1901,and came to Charleroi in 1913. He was a World War I veteren having served in the U.S.Army. He was a railroad employee. Surviving are his mother,Mrs.Rosalie Mazade of North Charleroi,five brothers,Auguste,Gaston,Maurice,Andre,all of Detroit,Michigan and Louis of Houston,Texas,and one sister,Mrs. Joseph (Marie) Thiry,of North Charleroi,Pa. The remains were shipped from Chicago,Ill.,to the Michael A. Melinchak Funeral Home,Charleroi,where private services were held July 19,1954 at 2 p.m.  Rev. Curtis J. Patterson gave the graveside services at Belle Vernon Cemetery where interment was made.  Michael A. Melinchak was the funeral director.
