John Marinak; 85; of 120 Lee
Drive; Belle Vernon; died Wednesday;June 21;1978; at 12:15 a.m. in Haven
Crest Nursing Home in Carroll
Twp. following a lengthy
illness.
Mr. Marinak was born in
Czechoslovakia on May 19;
1893; a son of the late Joseph
and Mary Marinak.
He was a retired employee
of the Monessen plant of
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel
Corp; and was a member of
the St Sebastian Catholic
Church of Belle Vernon and
the .Slovak Catholic Circle of
Fayette City.
He was preceded in death by
two sons; Joseph and John
Marinak.
Survivors include his
widow; Agnes Marinak; three
daughters; Mrs. Joseph
(Catherine) Dorcon of Fayette
City; Mrs Paul (Mary Kaye)
Frederick of Craven Hill;
Charleroi; and Mrs. Emil
(Agnes) DeAngelis of Belle
Vernon; two brothers; Joseph
and Paul Marinak; both in
Czechoslovakia; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in
the Howard W. McCrory
Funeral Home in Fayette City
from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and until the time of the Blessing service on Saturday at 9 a.m.;which will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.in St.Sebastian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon. A parish wake service will be held in the funeral home on Friday evening. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory;funeral director in charge.
