Obituary

John M. Logue,aged 82 years,died Sunday night,April 9,1944,at 10:25 p.m. at his residence,101 Wood street,Belle Vernon.  He had been a resident of Belle Vernon for the past 50 years.  He was former president of the Belle Venron Water Company and owner of the Belle Vernon gargae. Surviving are a daughter,Dorothy Logue,at home,a brother,Brade Logue,McKeesport,two grandsons, Pvt. Charles A. Galligan,stationed at Camp Reynolds,Pa.,and Aviation Cadet John A. Logue of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Friends are being received at the late home until Thursday,April 13,when services will be held at 2:30 p.m. in charge of Rev. Frank T.James,of the Methodist Church of Belle Vernon.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Harold R.Toner,funeral director,in charge.
