Obituary

John Louis Nagy,of 820 Brown St.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,April 20,1982 at 9 a.m. at his home. He was 58. Mr.Nagy was born March 26,1924 in Belle Vernon and resided in the Belle Vernon area his entire life. He was a member of St.Sebastian Church,Belle Vernon. Mr.Nagy was employed as a junior metallurgist at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was preceded in death by his father,Louis Nagy on Nov.28,1978,and a sister,Elizabeth Roskevitch on July 17,1973. Survivors include his mother,Julia Nagy,and a sister,Dolores J.Nagy,both with whom he made his home,three nieces,Kathy Miller and Patty Roskevitch,both of Belle Vernon and Stephanie Roskevitch of Republic,one nephew,John Miller of Belle Vernon,and one great-niece,Karissa Miller of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday,April 23,at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian Church,Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
