John Lemon;54;of 927 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died in Brownsville General Hospital;Friday;April 24;1970;at 12:30 a.m.;following a brief illness. He was formerly employed by Bethlehem Mines Corp.;Cokeburg;and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church of Belle Vernon;and Twin Lodge 67;F.and A.M.;Pricedale. He is survived by his father;Douglas L.Lemon;with whom he made his home;three brothers;Matthew of Pricedale;Jerome and George at home;one sister;Mrs.Lena Payne;Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by his mother on June 5;1967. Friends will be received at the Draper Funeral Home;Monessen;during hours of 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. The body will be removed to the Antioch Baptist Church;Belle Vernon;tomorrow at 4 p.m.;and services will be held there Monday;April 27;at 1 p.m.;in charge of the Rev.A.C.Morris.
