John Jack Lee Holder; 73; of North Belle Vernon; died Tuesday; Feb. 1; 2005; at 3 p.m. at his residence. Born Jan. 3; 1932; in Belle Vernon; he was a son of the late John and Muriel McKinley Holder. He was a lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon and was Protestant by faith. Mr. Holder was retired from the former Bell Telephone Co.; where he worked as a supervisor/technician. He was a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and the Belle Vernon Musical Society. Mr. Holder was a veteran of the Korean Conflict; having served with the U.S. Army. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law; Dolores and Joseph Balogh of Dayton; Ohio; and numerous nieces; nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister; Warren and Richard Holder and Margaret Christopher. Private family visitation and funeral services with Pastor William E. Lawson were held at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; family owned and operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). Interment was in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
