John Kuda;86;of Johnson Hollow;Fayette City;died on Feb.3;1979 in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oakland;Pittsburgh;following a lengthy illness. He was born in Czechoslovakia on May 9;1892. A veteran of World War I;he served in the U.S.Army. He was a member of Brightwell Daughterty Post 484;American Legion;of Fayette City. He was retired from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He is survived by several nieces and nephews in Czechoslovakia. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Main St.;Fayette City;after noon on Sunday;where blessing services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Father John J.Kluchko of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
