John Kroschel Jr.of 20 Myers Ave.;Monessen;died Sunday;Oct.12;1986;in Monongahela Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. Mr.Kroschel was 81. He was born Dec.16;1904;in Gelsenkirchen;Germany;a son of the late John and Anna Bierman Kroschel. He had been a resident of Monessen since 1927. Mr.Kroschel was retired from the Page Division of American and Cable Company in Monessen. He was a Catholic by faith. He was preceded in death by a sister;Maria Tadday. Mr.Kroschel is survived by his widow;Rose Tangle Kroschel;one daughter;Mrs.Thomas (Marie) Feehan of Monessen;three grandchildren;Mary Jane Krosoff of Belle Vernon;Thomas Feehan Jr.of College Park;Md.;and David Michael Feehan of Belle Vernon;one great-grandson;David Ryan Feehan;and three brothers;John Kroschel of Monessen;William Kroschel of St.Petersburg;Fla.;and Walter Kroschel of Tucson;Ariz. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Robert Billick Funeral Home Inc.;Grand Blvd.and Marion Ave.;Monessen. Prayer services will be held Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.in the funeral home;with the Rev.Father Patrick O’Connor;pastor of St.Leonard Roman Catholic Church;Monessen;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to either Monessen Ambulance Service of St.Leonard Church Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
