Obituary

John Krofchek,82,of 204 Long St.,Fairhope,was dead on arrival at Brownsville General Hospital at 3:40 a.m.Saturday,Feb.26,1972. He was born in Czechoslovakia Jan.30,1890. He was a retired coal miner. He was a member of Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City. Surviving are his widow,Mary,one son,John of Coraopolis,four daughters,Mrs.Mary Vasko,Mrs.Carl Pesi,Mrs.Margaret Fedora,all of Belle Vernon,and Mrs.Helen DiBasilio of Monongahela,13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received after 4 p.m.Sunday at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where a Rosary will be said Monday evening at 8 o'clock and a prayer service will be held Tuesday,Feb.29,at 9:30 a.m.followed by Mass at 10 a.m.at Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City,with the Rev.Stephen J.Drab officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory,funeral director.
