John Kossa;80;of Charleroi;died Friday;July 26;1991;at his home. He was born Sept.25;1910;in Charleroi;a son of the late John and Emma Kameroni Kossa. A U.S.Army veteran of World War II;he was retired from Corning Glass Works in Charleroi. Mr.Kossa was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Charleroi;the AARP and Corning Retirees. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Anna Mae Paskan Kossa;on April 28;1980;and by a brother;Edward Kossa. Survivors include a brother;Donald H.Kossa of Belle Vernon;a sister;Ethel Coakley of Troy;Mich.;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Christ Lutheran Church;Sixth Street and Washington Avenue;Charleroi;with the Rev.Scott Bryte officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
