John Kosanko, 94, of Jefferson Twp. (Fayette City), passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Country Care Manor, Fayette City. A son of the late Andrew and Anna Polochek Kosanko, he was born in Fayette City on February 19, 1921. A lifelong resident of Jefferson Twp., he had worked in the construction industry. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Peggy Kosanko of Fayette City and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Kosanko on May 4, 2009. There will be no public visitation or funeral services. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
